Sodic, Egypt’s leading real estate developer, has officially begun early handovers at Vye, its flagship community project in West Cairo, making it the first development in New Zayed to deliver ahead of schedule. Vye is home to the largest solar-powered residential project in Africa and the second largest in the Middle East. The developer has over 1,700 homes set for delivery ahead of schedule this year, including 452 fully finished, move-in-ready residences.
Ayman Amer, General Manager of Sodic, said, “Delivering VYE ahead of schedule is more than just a construction milestone; it reflects our unwavering commitment to our clients. VYE was built around how people want to live today: consciously, sustainably, and surrounded by everything that matters. It’s no longer a blueprint for the future; it’s a reality being lived today”.
Designed with innovation and sustainability at its core, Vye is equipped with smart infrastructure that reduces energy use and supports a lower-impact, sustainable lifestyle. The development also features green corridors, bike-friendly streets to co-working spaces, shared amenities and pedestrian-friendly neighbourhoods. Besides residences, Vye is set to open its town centre and clubhouse by early 2026 and 2027, respectively.
