Sunset Hospitality Group adds two new hotels to its Social Living CollectionTM

Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) expands its international portfolio by adding two new hotels: Cocana Resort by Social Living CollectionTM and Gran Hotel La Florida. The former is a five-star resort is located on the island, Gili Trawangan in Indonesia. The latter is a luxury boutique hotel in Barcelona managed by SHG in partnership with Atom Hoteles SOCIMI, establishing itself in Spain’s hospitality sector. Both hotels are part of the Social Living CollectionTM, which features a bespoke selection of hotels and resorts situated around the world.

SHG witnessed widespread expansion in the last quarter of 2023 with the launch of Sunset Hotels & Resorts, with plans of developing, opening, and operating 20 new hotels in the next three years across Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Six of its hotels are already operational.

Cocana Resort by Social Living CollectionTM is the first 5-star hotel in Gili Trawangan. The resort boasts 83 rooms, spread across 38 lagoon rooms with a variety of one-, two-, and three-bedroom private villas, accompanied by a spa as well as a beach club. It also promotes sustainability by offering eco-luxury lifestyle.

Gran Hotel La Florida — currently part of The Leading Hotels of the World — is a luxury boutique hotel perched on Tibidabo’s Hill – a 20-minute drive from Barcelona’s city center. SHG has taken over the management of the five-star luxury hotel and it will undergo a refurbishment, to be added to the Social Living CollectionTM, in time for the hotel celebrating its 100-year anniversary in 2025.

With 70-keys, the hotel offers contemporary designed rooms and suites, restaurants, and a spa. It has a vibrant history of being a hot spot for the high society of Barcelona in the 1950s and has welcomed famous guests like Ernest Hemingway, James Stewart, Princess Fabiola, and the Prince of Belgium.
