IHG Hotels & Resorts and Urbnlanes Development have signed a management agreement to bring two new Crowne Plaza hotels to Egypt, namely Crowne Plaza Cairo New Administrative Capital and the Crowne Plaza New Cairo Yellow. Both the hotels are set to open in 2028.
Crowne Plaza Cairo New Administrative Capital will be in the Levels Towers in the middle of the New Administrative Capital providing access to government offices, embassies, and financial institutions. The hotel will offer three dining options, including a sky bar, and will also have five meeting rooms for business events.

Crowne Plaza New Cairo Yellow will be situated in a prime spot in New Cairo, close to important areas. It is part of the ‘Yellow’ project. The hotel will be near business areas and the Cairo International Airport. It will have a restaurant and a Club Lounge as well as five places for meetings and events, including a ballroom.

IHG currently operates seven hotels across four brands in Egypt, including InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and Staybridge Suites, and has a strong pipeline of 17 hotels.
