Emaar Properties has announced an investment of Dh1.5 billion to expand Dubai Mall. The expansion will host 240 new luxury retail and dining outlets and the contractor is already mobilising on-site.

In 2023, Dubai Mall broke attendance records, welcoming 105 million visitors, noting a 19 percent increase from the prior year, accompanied by robust sales.
Inaugurated in 2008, Dubai Mall retains its global retail and leisure prominence in 2024. With more than 1,200 retail outlets and 200 dining venues, the mall currently spans an area of 1.2 million square metres.
