Dubai Investment Real Estate, the real estate division of Dubai Investments, a leading investment company listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), has broken ground for the residential and hotel towers on Danah Bay, Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. The Dh1 billion coastal community will house the 89 metres-high Danah Bay Residential tower and the four-star Grand Millenium resort, both slated for completion by Q3 2026 and Q3 2027, respectively.
The Danah Bay Residential Tower is composed of 143 units ranging from one- to four-bedroom apartments and penthouses and will be constructed in close proximity to the resort. It will also provide direct beach access to its residents.
In addition to 300 keys, the Grand Millennium resort will offer a host of diverse amenities, including meeting rooms, restaurants, beach club, a spa, and fitness facilities.
Obaid Salami, General Manager of Dubai Investment Real Estate, the developer of the project and the real estate arm of Dubai Investments, said, “We have commenced the enabling works for the residential and the hotel tower at Danah Bay, Al Marjan Island and this ground-breaking ceremony today, signifies the formal start of construction activities on-site. Breaking ground on the Danah Bay residential tower and the hotel marks another development within the project, setting new benchmarks in urban development. The Group’s vision of bringing luxury residential spaces within a mixed-use destination is tied with Dubai Investments’ confidence in Ras Al Khaimah as an up-and-coming destination to live, play, and explore – all in one. The emirate shows immense potential and Danah Bay on Al Marjan Island will play a pivotal role in transforming it into a highly sought-after beach community and retreat.”
Set to be a lifestyle destination, Danah Bay will span 90,000 square metres, complimented by 40,000 square metres of beach area, and will feature 189 villas. Its construction began in 2023 with its first phase expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2025. Phase 1 includes two- bedroom townhouses, villas with three- to four- bedrooms.
The Phase 2 of the project includes villas with four- to five- bedrooms and the two-bedroom townhouses, and is expected to be ready by Q2 2025.The residential and hotel towers are part of Phase 3 of the project, which will further enhance the appeal of Danah Bay as a premier destination in Ras Al Khaimah.
