Dar Global, the London-listed luxury international real estate developer, has awarded separate multi-million contracts for the infrastructure and main works construction of Phase 1 of its megaproject, AIDA, in Oman. The project is a joint venture with Omran Group, Oman’s primary organisation for tourism development, and features residential and hospitality offerings. The developer has signed a OMR9.3 million (Dh88.74 million) infrastructure contract with Oman Shapoorji Company LLC, which encompasses designing and constructing essential infrastructure, including roads, water, and electricity networks, utility installations, drainage, and sewage systems as well as developing the surrounding road network within AIDA. Towell Construction & Co. L.L.C. has bagged a contract valued at OMR14.2 million (Dh135.49 million) to construct townhouses and villas in Phase 1. The phase is slated for completion in 2027.

Located close to Downtown Muscat, AIDA covers an area of 5 million square metres. It is strategically located by the sea and 130 metres above sea level. The megaproject hosts a variety of residential options, including mansions, villas, and apartments, as well as hospitality facilities, recreational amenities, outdoor landscapes, and dining options. It will also feature a Trump Golf Course, in collaboration with the Trump Organization.
