Azizi Developments, a leading private real estate developer in the UAE, said it is advancing in the construction of its long delayed master-planned residential project Riviera, which once complete, will host 16,000 accommodation. The project was originally scheduled for delivery in phases from 2018.
Riviera is a French Mediterranean-inspired waterfront community strategically located on Al Khail Road in the Mohammed Bin Rashid City, amidst Dubai’s business, leisure, and retail hubs.
The delay in construction and delivery forced many buyers to seek compensation from the developers, who formed group on social media to air their frustration.
“Phase 1 is now 99 percent complete with the majority of the buildings already having been handed over, while phases 2, 3 and 4 are now at 98 percent, 92 percent and 27 percent, respectively. With 30 buildings already having been completed, totalling approximately 6,000 units, the rest of all of phases 1, 2, and 3 are to be finished within the coming months,” the developer said in a statement.
Riviera is part of Azizi Developments’ award-winning portfolio. It is a stylish waterfront-lifestyle destination that comprises 75 mid- and high-rise buildings with approximately 16,000 residences.
